Unix I - Basic to Intermediate Unix

Flavors covered - Solaris / Linux.
This course assumes no prior knowledge of Unix.

Details: This course is designed to take the confusion and frustration out of working with Unix. The series of classroom labs, which run in a real-world UNIX environment, are structured to allow you to learn by doing. The hands-on labs progressively build your UNIX knowledge and command skills in a clear and concise manner.

Working in a controlled UNIX classroom environment with an expert instructor, you will learn UNIX concepts, commands, terminology, file system structure, directories and file manipulation tools. You will receive professional tips and techniques that will help you build your UNIX confidence and skills.

Course Duration: 6-7 weeks, 11.00 am -2.00 pm Sat & weekday 7-9pm, twice a week. This course runs for 50 hours in total.
